Course description: 

 This course reviews the central venous anatomy including femoral, jugular, and subclavian veins. Attendees will also review ultrasound protocol for imaging and identification of the central veins before, during and after needle insertion. Technical approach and pitfalls are also discussed. Using vascular access phantoms, attendees will also have the opportunity to perform central line placement under ultrasound guidance.
