The program introduces the learner to the social context of the feeding experience and how it can affect both the preterm and/or critically ill infant and the family. The caregiver acquires a deeper understanding of the crucial nature of the feeding experience and the implications of feeding interventions that impact the vulnerable infant. Participants will come away with tools to promote and implement change in feeding practices within their own units.
