What you will learn

Course description:

The following case study discusses uterine fibroid embolization. This alternative to a hysterectomy has had success in resolving symptomatic fibroids. The study reviews ultrasound identification of fibroids and correlation with multiple imaging modalities. This exercise provides the learner with a progressional case study that follows the patient's plan of care. It illustrates the benefits that each modality, clinical exam and test can contribute to the diagnostic assessment and offers an in depth review of the uterine fibroid embolization procedure.
