Course description: 

This session will look at the anatomy of the brain. It will focus on identifying key structures within the brain in a diagrammatic format, in preparation for radiological brain image interpretation.



Course objectives: 

Upon completion of this module, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify the lobes and sulci of the brain
  • Identify the main components of the basal ganglia
  • Identify and name the ventricles and major cerebrospinal fluid spaces
  • Identify the major blood vessels supplying the brain
