Course description: 

The program consists of six comprehensive study modules formatted into a book. Each module contains 40 to 80 pages of easy-to-follow text, with an abundance of images and summaries, written in the language of the clinical technologist. The first study module introduces concepts and terms used when performing sectional imaging. Study modules two through six focus on specific regions of the body by identifying key anatomical structures and their physiological significance, as well as practical sectional imaging strategies.

The purpose of the courses is to acquaint diagnostic imaging technologists and radiation therapists with anatomical structures and clinical challenges encountered when using sectional imaging modalities.

ASRT Category A credits are available and are managed through MIC.
