What you will learn

Course description: 

This course includes modes of ventilation / breath delivery, breath types / settings, pneumatic / electronic theory of operation, short self-test (SST), extended self-test (EST), diagnostic mode, software / option download, ventilator communications, hardware troubleshooting, and performance assurance testing for the V200/Espirit Ventilator. The course is intended for biomedical engineers with an understanding of pneumatic, mechanical and electronic systems.

Course objectives: 

Upon training completion, students will have sufficient instruction to perform system troubleshooting, isolate faulty subsystems, execute replacement part removal and installation procedures, confirm proper operation and complete all testing necessary to ensure device accuracy to published specifications.
