Course description: 

In this 4-hour eLearning course, the engineer will learn about the Flash 5100 POC Ultrasound System.
 

Using a self-paced eLearning format, the engineer will learn about features, functions, components, how to install, disassembly and reassembly, and troubleshooting.

This course has a Certification Exam that consists of several questions. You will be required to obtain a score of at least 70% in order to be certified as trained.

Course objectives: 

Upon successful completion of the course, the engineer will be able to:

• Identify the features of the 5100 POC products, including optional equipment and components.
• Identify the position of the 5100 POC within the Philips ultrasound product portfolio.
• Understand how to perform a system installation, including configurations, on the 5100 POC.
• Understand how to perform preventive maintenance tasks on the 5100 POC.
• Understand how to perform basic operations on the 5100 POC systems.
• Understand how to disassemble and reassemble the 5100 POC systems by utilizing knowledge of the theory of operation.
• Understand how to reinstall the system software.
• Understand how to perform common troubleshooting techniques by investigating, clarifying, analyzing and drawing conclusions for:

  • Image quality issues
  • Power issues
    BIOS/OS issues
  • Error code issues
