A wide range of educational Programs
- Accredited Continuing Education Courses
We offer 2 to 4 day courses at our regional training centers. These vendor neutral courses focus on the clinical/technical aspects of specific job roles. Examples include foundational courses such as MR essentials for technologists and an introduction to digital breast imaging as well as more specialized courses such as Cardiac CT courses for physicians and MR oncology. Our full calendar of events can be viewed below.
- Competency Based Development Programs
Our competency based development programs combine technical, clinical and softskils and focus on building up the core competencies for specific job roles in a sustainable manner. These vendor neutral programs are designed in line with international accreditation bodies and include tests and assessments as well as certifications. Development paths are available for most Radiologic Technologists as well as nurses, mid wives, and respiratory therapists and typically include 3 levels to move staff from beginner to experts.
- Advanced Applications Training
Designed to transform a learner with knowledge of basic functionality and usage of Philips systems into product specialists, our applications programs – delivered by a team of expert clinical application specialists – are available directly at your hospital site.
Extra days with your application specialist is recommended for hospitals wishing to get the most out of their technology, but also for those welcoming lots of new staff, as well those departments with mixed levels of employees.
- Overseas Education Opportunities
Philips has partnerships with key hospitals around the globe, as well as modality specific training centers in Europe, Asia and USA. Observation training at leading hospitals as well as courses deep diving on equipment related topics can also be arranged for our Middle East customers.
Assessment, design and delivery of education programs
Philips will work with management teams and other key stakeholders in your hospital to define your educational goals and requirements. This basis will then be used to design a tailored education program complete with quality assurance and program management to bring the agreed program to life
