Course description: 

In this 9.5-day, instructor-led course, the engineer will learn to safely service the Incisive CT scanner. The engineer will be provided the knowledge and the skills to install, calibrate, and repair the systems to the designated Field Replaceable Units (FRU) and will study system operation, software installation, configuration, and system calibration as well as the interfaces and access methods for Service Tools. 

The engineer will have access to a live system, and at the end of the course, will be asked to complete a hands-on demonstration of your capabilities.            

All required materials and detailed instructions are provided by your instructor.

Course objectives: 

Upon successful completion of the course the engineer will be able to:  

  • Identify/Describe key system components
  • Demonstrate working safely in and around the Incisive CT
  • Demonstrate key system operations
  • Install software
  • Perform configuration tasks
  • Describe communication methods
  • Demonstrate the procedures to remove, replace and align the Field Replaceable Units related to communications
  • Use Philips Service Tools
  • Identify Field Replaceable Unit components
  • Perform calibrations
  • Perform system/acceptance testing
  • Perform preventative maintenance
