Register What you will learn Course description: The purpose of this onsite training program is to provide radiologists and/or technologists with the ability to understand and execute all basic functions and options of the Philips IntelliSpace Breast (ISB) Reading WorkStation (RWS). Training will consist of both didactic and hands-on instruction. We will provide theoretical concepts and associated clinical reinforcement of mammography, using exercises and demonstrations of proper techniques to display the anatomy in question. The radiologists and/or technologists should be able to perform and understand all technical and clinical aspects of the IntelliSpace Breast (ISB) System. This will include theory and clinical use on the following listed in the outline. Key operators are expected to provide the training to the rest of the staff operators and additional radiology personnel as well as maintain the system for optimal image quality and functionality. Evaluation: Upon conclusion, the trainee shall demonstrate the ability to set up and manipulate the system, complete procedures efficiently, and display image quality evaluation through practicum and exercise. Also, they may complete a skills checklist.
