Course description: 

This 2.0-hour Virtual Speaker-Led Training course is designed to provide customers knowledge on the role of ultrasound in pelvic floor imaging of fecal incontinence.  Program topics include reviewing the anatomy of the pelvic floor and rectal complex, along with how to correlate the anatomy to the ultrasound images.  The course will also cover techniques in identifying rectal dysfunction and the treatments as seen on ultrasound.



Course objectives: 

Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

  • Review the anatomy of pelvic floor and rectal complex
  • Understand how to translate the anatomy into ultrasound images
  • Understand the techniques in identifying rectal disfunction
  • Review the treatments for rectal disfunction and how these appear on ultrasound
