PhilipsHealthcare.CustomerEducation.NAmericaIS@philips.comn Onsite Clinical Education Program for Digital Radiography and Fluoroscopy Systems: A Philips Clinical Education Specialist will provide eight hours of RIS mapping on your Philips digital RAD or R/F system.

The purpose of this program is to provide onsite support during a new RIS installation, RIS upgrade, or any circumstance where RIS code mapping or remapping is required on a Philips digital RAD or R/F system.  A Philips Clinical Education Specialist will arrive onsite and, working together with local RIS/PACS administrators and/or IT support, will import new RIS codes and map them to the examinations in the Anatomical Database of your modality system.

Course objectives: 

While onsite the Clinical Education Specialist will achieve the following tasks:

  • Import RIS codes as provided by the RIS administrator or designate.
  • Map the RIS codes to the examinations in the Anatomical Database.

Once networking has been completed between your RIS system and the Philips RAD or R/F system, the mapped codes will populate the modality worklist with the appropriate examination related to the received RIS code.
