What you will learn

Course description: 

In this 4-day, instructor-led course, the engineer will learn basic knowledge about x-ray physics, radiation protection, architecture of imaging equipment and Philips Service Documentation. The engineer must be able to operate measuring equipment (e.g. multimeter) before attending this course.

The engineer will have access to a live system, and at the end of the course, will be asked to complete a hands-on demonstration of your capabilities.        

All required materials and detailed instructions are provided by your instructor.

Course objectives: 

Upon successful completion of the course the learner will be able to:

  • Explain the fundamentals of X-ray physics and radiation protection
  • Explain the fundamentals of Philips X-ray system architecture
  • Use documentation in the correct way
