This class will review fundamental two-dimensional transesophageal echocardiographic views for the qualitative assessment of normal and pathological aortic valve echo-anatomy and function. Doppler techniques commonly used in the quantitative assessment of aortic regurgitation and aortic stenosis will also be reviewed along with the clinical applications of echocardiography.
