This eLearning course will provide a comprehensive overview of practical ultrasound and is designed for individuals looking to learn the fundamentals of ultrasound imaging.  Topics covered include an overview of ultrasound physics, the differences between transducers and how each type of transducer impacts the user’s field of view.  This course will also review anatomical directions and how this relates to ultrasound scan planes.  Additionally, the course focuses on delivering knowledge and practical skills for obtaining 2D and Doppler image recognition and techniques.
