Course description:

The purpose of this onsite training program is to provide technologists with the ability to understand and execute all basic and advanced functions and options of the Philips Digital Radiography products with the Eleva Workspot platform.  Training will consist of both didactic and hands-on instruction.  We will provide theoretical concepts and associated clinical reinforcement of digital radiography.  Training in re-programming the anatomy database, image processing parameters and manipulation, as well as film formatting will be provided.  Exercises and demonstrations of proper visualization techniques to display the anatomy in question will be performed by the participants. The technologists should be able to perform and understand all technical and clinical aspects of the Digital Radiography System.  This will include theory, image quality and clinical use on the following listed in the outline.  Key operators are expected to provide the training to the staff operators/additional radiology personnel as well as maintain the system for optimal image quality.

Evaluation:  Upon conclusion, the trainee shall demonstrate the ability to set up and manipulate the system, complete procedures efficiently, display image quality evaluation, and complete the skills checklist as well as show proficiency in customizing the database.

A Clinical Education Program for Digital Radiography Systems with onsite Handover Education: A Philips Education Specialists will provide twenty-eight hours of education for up to four students, selected by customer, including technologists from night/weekend shifts if necessary. Students should attend all 28 hours, and must include any Offsite education attendees if applicable. CEU credits may be available if the participant meets the guidelines provided by Philips.
