Course description: 

This offsite training will provide advanced, comprehensive instruction to technologists on the use of the CombiDiagnost. 

Evaluation: Upon conclusion, the trainee shall demonstrate the ability to manipulate the system, complete procedures efficiently, display image quality evaluation, and complete the skills checklist.

This Clinical Education Program for CombiDiagnost will provide twenty-eight hours of basic and advanced training on the Philips CombiDiagnost system.

Following the program the participant will be able to:
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Digital systems currently in use today.
• Identify the radiation safety issues associated with Fluoro and DR.
• Describe how images are generated.
• Manipulate the imaging parameters.
• Classify the various types of Image Quality artifacts that occur with Digital Imaging and identify how to minimize them whenever possible.
• Perform basic functionality and workflow of the CombiDiagnost system.
• Manipulate and customize the anatomy database.
