Course description: 

This onsite training will provide comprehensive instruction to technologists and physicians on the use of R/F systems with Digital imaging.  We will assure maximum image quality, efficient operation, and appropriate radiation safety concepts.

Evaluation: Upon conclusion, the trainee shall demonstrate the ability to manipulate the system, complete procedures efficiently, display image quality evaluation, and complete the skills checklist.

Clinical Education Program for ProxiDiagnost will provide twenty-eight hours of RF and RAD onsite Education for up to four students, selected by customer, including technologists from night/weekend shifts if necessary. Students should attend all 28 hours. CEU credits may be available if the participant meets the guidelines provided by Philips. Depending on your system configuration, the first four hours onsite may be spent configuring new equipment for specific clinical needs, as well as reviewing important safety features and quality procedures. Please read guidelines for more information.

Note: Site must be patient-ready. Philips personnel are not responsible for actual patient contact or operation of equipment during education sessions except to demonstrate proper equipment operation



Course objectives: 

Following the program the participant will be able to:
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Digital systems currently in use today.
• Identify the radiation safety issues associated with Fluoro and DR.
• Describe how DR images are generated.
• Manipulate the imaging parameters.
• Classify the various types of Image Quality artifacts that occur with Digital Imaging and identify how to minimize them whenever possible.
• Perform basic functionality and workflow of the CombiDiagnost system
• Manipulate and customize the anatomy database
