Register What you will learn Course description: This virtual instructor-led course provides Key Users with the knowledge and skills required for a successful Xper IM implementation and support. This training is designed for new Xper IM clinical Key Users (RN's, RCIS's, RT's, or CVT's) who are unfamiliar with the Xper Information Management application, the Xper IM Hemodynamic system, and implementation process. In order to continue with business demands, we are delivering this course as a facilitated virtual-instructor led class. We are making every effort to make this online session an equivalent experience to the instructor led course as possible but some aspects of delivery will have to be different. We will incorporate a virtual training environment for practicing the topics and will do our very best to help all learners, but expect to check technical requirements to make the best out of this course. The class is taught using a combination of demonstrations and hands on experience. For the Hands on practise we will provide a virtual lab environment. Objectives: Individuals who complete the prerequisite online learning activities and attend the Instructor-led portion of the course will be able to: Describe the function of each of the components comprising the Xper IM network Identify how to meet the demands of the hospital's rigid user security requirements by utilizing the security features of the Xper IM Hemodynamic System Customize the system's default menus to ensure proper patient documentation Customize the default system tables to meet the needs of the facility Customize and maintain inventory through the Xper IM application. Perform the diverse types of cases from beginning to end and incorporate all aspects of the case into an electronic medical record. Prerequisites Interactive elearning modules will be available on key functions and transactions in the system and will be made available to the learner prior to the virtual instructor-led portion of the training and are a prerequisite. These modules will provide a combination of foundational knowledge and interactive system simulations. Each module will include knowledge checks and a final assessment to ensure that the participant understands the concepts and how to implement them. Finally, participants will be able to revisit these modules as part of ongoing performance support.
