Remote Proctor NOW is a cloud-based (SaaS) solution for secure online examination delivery. You use a standard computer webcam and microphone with a high speed internet connection. This approach allows you to take the tests in a secure location at your convience.
Remote Proctor was built to protect exam integrity by authenticating your identity, the test taker, and captures the entire exam session which is later reviewed by certified proctors. A report is provided to Philips with links to the actual video of any suspicious behavior.
Once you have registered and the certification program has verified your application, you will receive an email from Philips that offers information about taking the examinations and provides your registration details.
Please note: you should always confirm your information before beginning your examination.
Important: Your first and last name must appear exactly as they do on your government-issued photo ID in order for you to gain certification. Upload your photo as instructed. Provide a photo on the Philips website of your full face (passport-type photo, no hats, sunglasses, etc.). We will use this photo for your certification card. Please make sure you will be recognized by the photo. Use your Philips username and password, upload your photo to Philips.Certifior.com, by simply logging in to your account and follow the onscreen directions.
Philips has chosen Remote Proctor Now software from Software Secure, Inc. to administer exams through our vendor, Assessment Systems Corporation and 4ROI. The Remote Proctor Now software first requires a system test of your computer to see if it is properly configured for you to take the exam. The software allows you to take the exam at a convenient time of your choosing, and will allow for the proctoring of your exam by recording the visual, audio, and desktop aspects of your exam environment.
