Register What you will learn Course description: Compared to native valves, echocardiographic evaluation of prosthetic heart valves (PHV) is certainly more complex, both for the examination and the interpretation. In clinical practice, a comprehensive approach that integrates several parameters of valve morphology and function assessed with 2D/3D transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography is a key to appropriately detecting and quantitate PHV dysfunction. This course will provide a framework to properly scan and interpret prosthetic heart valves.
